When you place an order we collect your name, shipping address, email address and phone number. Payment card details are entered on the processor's encrypted page and are never stored on our systems; we receive only a confirmation and the last four digits. If you email support, we keep that correspondence so the next person who helps you has the context.
Information collected automatically
Our web server logs the usual technical data: IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages visited. We use a privacy-respecting analytics measure of aggregate traffic. We do not build advertising profiles of individual visitors and we do not sell any data to anyone, ever.
Cookies
jellyfilbites.com uses a small number of functional cookies to keep your session working and to remember which package you selected. We do not run third-party advertising cookies on this site. You can block cookies in your browser; the storefront will still function, though the package selector may reset.
Why we hold it and for how long
Order data is held to fulfil the order, to honour the sixty-day guarantee and to meet United States tax and record-keeping obligations, which is seven years for financial records. Support correspondence is held for three years. Server logs are discarded after ninety days.
Who we share it with
Only the parties that make the order happen: our payment processor, our fulfilment warehouse and the shipping carrier. Each receives the minimum needed to do its job. We disclose information to a government authority only where we are legally compelled to do so.
Your choices
Write to [email protected] to see a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted where we are not required to keep it, or to unsubscribe from any email. We act on requests within thirty days. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA and may exercise them at the same address.
Security and children
The site runs over TLS and access to order data inside the company is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfect, and if a breach ever affected your data we would tell you directly rather than bury a notice. jellyfilbites.com is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
